Two of the companies we like most when looking for tours and activities are Project Expedition and Viator.

Prepare for Your Trip

  • Always take a copy of your passport and carry it in a different bag than your actual passport.
  • Take a photo of your passport and send it to someone that will not be on the trip with you.
  • Passports should have six months before expiration from the date of your trip.
  • Give yourself at least four hours to make a connection through London Heathrow Airport.
  • When going on a cruise, plan to arrive in the embarkation city at least 24-48 hours ahead of time.
  • When flying internationally, keep in mind that premium economy seats are comparable to US first class seats.
  • GET TRAVEL INSURANCE! Also known as "trip protection," travel insurance often has two major pieces - coverage of the costs of the trip should you cancel before you leave, and medical coverage while on the trip. At a minimum, travel insurance must be purchased no later than the day before you leave.
